My name is Adrian Vargas, the owner of SchoolBiz Consulting. I have over 18 years of experience in school business, the last 13 years in management with varying sizes of districts in Northern California. I have worked as a Supervisor of Fiscal Services/Internal Auditor, Director of Budget & Accounting, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Business Officer and as Assistant Superintendent of Business Services for those districts.
I am experienced with budget development, interim reporting, multi-year projections, negotiations, state and federal reporting, year-end closing and audit. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from San Diego State University. Finally, I completed the University of Southern California Rossier School of Education Chief Business Official certificate program in 2009.
